Pray this prayer:

“Lord, Jesus, please reveal to my partner and myself sins in our lives that have hurt you and brought curses with them.  Please open our hearts with humility and love and courage so we will be able to repent of those sins and renounce them and remove them from our lives so we will stand before you clean.

Lord, I know you paid for our sins when you died for us on that cross on Calvary, and I know this proves to us how much you love us and how precious it is to you for us to have fellowship together, so please give us your heart so we will feel as you do, love as you love, and care about the things that are important to you.  Please help us deepen our commitment to you, and please refine us with your refining fire so we may stand before you with pure hearts.  Please apply your blood to our lives, cleanse us from sin, and save us from sin and every curse of sin.
